So the second picture looks like a /2 with a later motor and no sidecar.
Looks like they are selling 2 different bikes.

Yes. He is selling the two bikes for the combined price of 45.000 kroner or about 5.000€

Two Bikes! that explains it. The R60/2 has nothing to do with the hack set up.

Interesting find. When searching the registration authorities website, the info obtained from the reg no (which indeed is the format used in the late 60ies) gives a frame no for an R60/2, first registered Aug. 10th, 1968. It also lists the capacity as 594 cc, and max power as 30 BHP.

So the combination is indeed based on a /2, although obviously heavily modified. No info on mileage and/or mechanical status, so this is an opportunity for someone knowledgeable about such conversions.

Just curious...where did this info come from:
frame no for an R60/2, first registered Aug. 10th, 1968
Is it off some paperwork that goes with the bike or did it come from some internet search? Is there a build date to go with that? What is the VIN number?

In the advertisement, there is a link to the registration authorities database. The info on record can be seen here: <https://tinyurl.com/y7yawjm8>, under the heading "Registreringsdata". Not sure how far your browser manages to translate, knowledge of languages often help!

Looking up the frame no (18160xx) on bmbikes.co.uk verifies the year range of manufacture, but no build date (month) for such old bikes.

Thanks...I'm familiar with Phil Hawksley's site. As far as I know, for any bike before 1970, not even the year of production is provided, just a range of years as you suggest. The link says "first registered in Norway" and there's the possibility that it could have been registered somewhere else before that. But based upon some other data I have, more than likely the Norwegian owner was the first. I have a bike with 100 numbers later than the Norwegian bike that was delivered to Butler & Smith in July 1968.

Further down it says it is not a used import, so it has always been in Norway. It also says it has been registered on the owner since 18.05.2018 witch is yesterday. Meaning it was probably sold to a new owner yesterday.

That's an R100RT made no earlier than 1981 with an extensive (probably $8000 US) conversion to sidecar. If you are looking for a side car rig, that's an excellent choice. If you are looking for a 2 wheeler, you couldn't afford to convert this bike back.

Additionally, the early date tells me someone has titled it as a much earlier model to possibly elude police. So this bike could also have legal issues associated with it.
