4 R100RS's all built in 1981.

This weekend Grants ~2280kms, mine ~ 2000kms, Ken's ~ 1800kms, Jeff's ~ 2000km...guessitmates.

I lost the front mud flap, day one, Jeff lost then found his left muffler, Ken cracked the lower mount of his fairing, Grants bike ran beautifully and always used a litre less than mine each fillup.

So about 8Kkm, they all went like steamtrains.

1990 k's for me Steve, good guess. Great roads to ride, miles and miles of nothing, if one didn't look at what was there.
I was an hour running @ 6,000 rpm in 5th, with a short interval to put the muffler back on. I was just testing the blocked bypass

All good, it would appear.

RS, the ultimate dual sport touring bike. Well, at least the twin shocks with that 19" front.

Sounds like a bloody good ride, you blokes. Well done.

It occurs to me that the Australian Coat of Arms was designed with the safety of motorcyclists in mind:

See what I mean? Those silhouettes have been blasted into our consciousness as warnings of peril.

And here is the coat of arms for South Oz. More shapes to be wary of, though rarely seen standing on their hind legs ...

Couldn't find anything with pigs, brumbies, giant road trains or Winnebagos.
