Oh, cool. Thanks Daz, Rob, for the extra insight! Max bmw gives M&M’s in their boxes? Ha that is great.
Did a ~300 mile ride today. Was a blast and the bike felt great, save for at speeds past 70mph. And I’m pretty sure that was just cause of wind resistance with the big Windjammer fairing up front.

Re: Bing 40mm Overfilling
Those big fairings really compromise the handling of these bikes. Take it off and ride for a while. I bet many sporting riders could never bear to put it back on. BMW is famous for the RS fairing. It you really need that much protection, get one of those. ...IMOkmisterk wrote: ↑Sat May 15, 2021 11:31 pm Oh, cool. Thanks Daz, Rob, for the extra insight! Max bmw gives M&M’s in their boxes? Yeah...I had to take off the fairing relatively recently and I don't think I can put it back. Like, ever.Zombie Master wrote: ↑Sun May 30, 2021 2:35 amThose big fairings really compromise the handling of these bikes. Take it off and ride for a while. I also attempted to replace the stock turn signals in the hopes to remain legal, but that ended up draining/killing a 5-month old AGM battery. So, those got removed real quick.
I've been really enjoying the feel of the bike without the big fairing. A lot.
