I've just lost the will to live.
What next? A ten page article on how to screw in a household light bulb?
Reeaally people....is it just me?.....One of the most elementary cable activated mechanisms on the planet has become the object of a thesis?
I'll wait for the Reader's Digest condensed version, or watch one of the youtube movie versions.

One super important 'tip' was unfortunately omitted: "Never deliberately tie the cable in knots, as this will hinder its smooth operation."

My condensed version:
Don't lube cable, replace it if not moving smoothly.
(only pivots and ends must be lubed)
Adjust arm on transmission to vertical at half hand-lever travel.
Assure pinch-free routing and smooth actuation and 'some' freeplay when hot.

If i have offended you in any way, I will gladly send you a 12 page manuscript I wrote on why it was genetic, not intentional.
