Thank you. That's exactly what I was thinking to do. I'll report back.

Correct, no ground wire on /6 front turn signals. I powder coated some TS stalks and had to grind some of that away where the pod attached to get a good ground going through the stalk and fork.jagarra wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 9:30 pm If I remember correctly the turn signals are grounded via the housing to ground, so there may not be a ground wire coming off the socket. Maybe cleaning where the housing touches the stocks will solve the issue. You could verify it's a grounding issue with a long wire touching the outside of the socket to a frame or battery ground to see if by passing the housing ground solves issue.
Ah, I was thinking of the stock unit... The enduralast appears to be a totally different setup.cpazambrana wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 8:06 pm Thanks guys but as I said, the relay is new and is the Enduralast that Euromotoelectrics sells. Now that I note, the description of the relay in this site says as follows:
"NOTE: The relay has a "bulb out feature" which means that when one of your bulbs is burned out (or you have a bad ground), the remaining turn signal (on the burned out side) will continue to blink, but the dash indicator will blink once, then stop."
Now I wonder if it is a bad ground (given that the bulb is also new) and the relay is doing what is supposed to with it's "bulb out feature".
Worth checking but a '76 model /6 should have a dedicated ground wire to each indicator (This was the first year it was fitted). If a particular machine doesn't have them, it is a good and simple upgrade to fit them...jagarra wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 9:30 pm If I remember correctly the turn signals are grounded via the housing to ground, so there may not be a ground wire coming off the socket. Not sure if I'm getting this right but I think you're saying that the bike doesn't have front indicators fitted. If this is correct, then the relay will 'see' it as a blown bulb and react accordingly... In other words, there's nothing wrong with the relay, it just won't work properly in a circuit with a missing bulb. I would expect a generic three terminal relay to flash rapidly if it were fitted.cpazambrana wrote: ↑Thu Apr 21, 2022 7:18 pm Yes, all of the other indicators lights work as it should. I forgot to say that this bike has no front turn signals. The original flasher relay did the same thing. That's why I took it out in the first time. I lost it and had to get the Enduralast. I'll deal with this next weekend.
