I’m just trying a pair of Pirelli scorpion trail 3 on the mystic, but going down to a 130 rear as I feel the 2.5 rim squeezes the 140 to much leaving the rear 1/2 inch unused compered to the front on its limit. I’ll post an update once I’ve done a few miles or very shortly if it’s a terrible idea.

I would highly recommend Avon Roadrider MKII. Excellent handling for spirited riding and great wet weather traction IMHO. Often difficult to find stock which may be indicative of their popularity. Generally reasonably priced too.
