Fork Rebuild Stiction Help

Just to follow up in case anyone is interested, still no luck with any of the suggestions. The only thing I can think of is that the forks are out of alignment, and for some reason that doesn't show when doing the stiction pull up and drop test without oil in the forks. I have taken them apart and fiddled maybe five times now without luck, so I think I have to give up and leave them as they are...sticky.

This has been my method for Airhead forks. Works 2 out of the 2 times I've done it!

If it's truly stiction instead of thick fork oil, try this: During my rebuild, several sites recommended loosening the upper and lower triple clamps and the fender mount / brace and bouncing the bike by rocking it. This lines everything up and seemed to work well.

Do you mean after everything has been put back together? Hard to rock it without a front end.

Thanks for sending that along. I will give it a shot, though seems complicated and easy to mess up.
