The needle bearing rocker arms failed often. I far prefered the older /5 bushing types. They just get noisey, but don't let you down on the road.

Has something changed in the past 100 years?

Oddly enough, I have never had a rocker arm needle bearing fail on me. :roll:

Stephen, if you need some needles to fill in missing ones on R90Steve's, I have some loose ones from a broken bearing.

Probably mail to you for the cost of a stamp.

Let me know, they are also from a 74 /6 bike.

Also have some (3) good '74 rockers, but they have some wear and would be more to ship.

I went through my junk valuable spare parts and could only find one /5 rocker and one rocker shaft, both of which are knackerd.

Thanks for looking, garnet. I think with contributions from R90Steve and pkboxer I should be ok. If I needed more junk ... ahm ... additional spare parts, I'll make noise.

We need to keep shipping rockerarms and any other spare parts to him. I noticed an ad on another forum that looked suspiciously like his, selling rockerarms. I believe he may be financing his habit this way.
