The needle bearing rocker arms failed often. I far prefered the older /5 bushing types. They just get noisey, but don't let you down on the road.
Has something changed in the past 100 years?

Ask the Indians what happens when you don't control immigration.

Oddly enough, I have never had a rocker arm needle bearing fail on me.Duane Ausherman wrote:The needle bearing rocker arms failed often. I far prefered the older /5 bushing types. They just get noisey, but don't let you down on the road.

Re: Rockerarms ... (wanted)
Stephen, if you need some needles to fill in missing ones on R90Steve's, I have some loose ones from a broken bearing.
Probably mail to you for the cost of a stamp.
Let me know, they are also from a 74 /6 bike.
Also have some (3) good '74 rockers, but they have some wear and would be more to ship.

Some of the above is fact, some is fiction, some is my personal imagination and some is just simple truth. [me]

Thanks for looking, garnet. I think with contributions from R90Steve and pkboxer I should be ok. If I needed more junk ... ahm ... additional spare parts, I'll make noise.

Re: Rockerarms ... (wanted)
We need to keep shipping rockerarms and any other spare parts to him. I noticed an ad on another forum that looked suspiciously like his, selling rockerarms. I believe he may be financing his habit this way.
