Ditch that perspex Jeff...you need polycarbonate, dressed with some matching bullet holes. They might act like naca ducts!

Most try the taller screen, as I did, but it wasn't tall enough and I didn't like the look of it anyhow.

The screen Grant has was cut down gradually to the height that suited me (6ft 1") The trick is to have the air flow from the top of the screen to be quiet below the helmet. Leaving the helmet in the airstream has it in "cleaner" air, for want of a better term. Turbulence at the helmet is negated.

My current screen is 1 cm closer to my chin than this one, but has a very dark tint.
Had a good ride today with my very low screen attached like SteveD talks about here and YES it is so much quieter than the standard height screen.....
