Great. Not only is Scot selling his RT, but now all I can think of is holding Mona (Pembroke Corgi) in my arms while she stopped breathing when she was put down.
This is a depressing thread...

Yikes! I can't go an hour without getting into trouble!
Hopefully Scot, your fond loving memories of Omar leave you with all the good fuzzy feeligs a Great Dog can
place in our hearts. I know when I held my "Penny" ( a Golden) as she was put to sleep, I was blubbering from
an area in my heart I had never seen before.
So why are you selling? Did I miss you getting a new bike?
No, you probably missed the fact that I lost my job. The emotional attachment becomes alot less meaningful when one has no way to pay their rent.
I
do have very fond memories of Omar. I have a picture of him on my fridge, and I often stroke it as I tell him what a good boy he is. Sh!t! Here we go again.

Please think about this. How long will it take for regret to hit you? That regret will last, believe me.
Please withdraw the ad.
ps: It is one of the best bike ads I've seen, BTW, and that bike would easily pull $6k in Oz.
Believe me, Charlie . . . I regretted it
as I was posting the ad, but . . . I've gotta eat, and I've become somewhat accustomed to having a roof over my head.

I'm sorry, Kurt. Both for your loss, and the fact that I've created a depressing thread.
You wanna cheer me up? Just click the "buy it now" button, and we'll
both be happy!

I would LOVE to be able to do that (well, make a bid anyway

). It's a wonderful example (despite that ugly black thing sitting on top of the frame). Wife is off on disability, and we're still working out the disability pay. Long term we're looking at losing about $1500 a month take-home, and, short term we're scrambling a bit as they work things out. So, this is,unfortunately, not the time.

Well understood . . . and I was joking . . . kinda.

Are you hanging up the helmet,
or moving on to different 2 wheeled toys?

For now, I have no choice other than to hang it up.

Gee Scot, that's a bummer. I hope things turn around for you soon. Your ad reads very well. I assume the tank is cherry and if so, you may want to mention that. I'd also mention paint by .......oh, I forget their name........I'll remember it as I hit the "submit" button. Anyway, best of luck.

Just a bike. Nice one that you put a lot into though. When things turn around you can always get another bike. I guess if 3 grand is going to help turn around your situation that's what you got to do. 3 grand is not a lot of money these days. Make sure this is what you need to do. Best of luck to you Scot, the only thing we can count on is that things will change.
