That is always the hang ordering a helmet. I think the HJC fits very true to size. I think I'm an oval head shape. Since I've already had 2 of the CL Max helmets, I know the fit. If yours fits, I'm sure you will enjoy this lid. All they had left was black for me too. I think my head is more oval and some helmets (Nolan) seem to be too snug front to back and not side to side.
I did take the chance and ordered one.
They have many sizes still available and in all the best colors, all black.
