Bikes like that always make me think about putting "old style" valve covers on my R100.

I put some pattern "old style" on my 94 R100LT and ended up with a left boot always covered in oil. Used silicon gasket no seal. Used new BMW gasket no seal.

Put the original square valve covers back on and no more oil on my boot. I would say that the mating surface on the Pattern cover is now even. Can't send em back either as I ground one down last year when I put the bike into a car.

You're right Jeff, With the stock covers it looks "concours" (like yours). :D
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

Mine don't leak either Ross and I already own them ;)
P.S. Stop attacking those cars with your bike. They're like trees - undefeated!

Expresso!
I once bought a Latte in Grant' s Pass Oregon from a guy at a stand dressed like Elvis. It came in a Big Gulp sized cup and it had 8 shots of espresso in it. It was called a "Double Quad Big Dog"! That's what the bike reminds me of now. 8-)
