Many curves had special signs warning motorcyclists to slow down...On the continent, in built-up areas, they are serious too. On the highways, it is a bit free, but when you go into a town...look out.
Motorcycles are protected by speed cameras in Norway. When you approach the speed cameras, just open up. Motorcycles travel on toll roads for free after a few demonstrations.
We stopped, got off the bike and tokk off our gloves. Then we had to look for our wallets. The queue builds up very fast when 150 motorcycles stop to pay. The traffic stopped up in neighbouring towns.
Only a weekend was enough for the bikes to pass for free.

No, the hike in your insurance premiums in the worst.

edit: Sorry Indian, I read right over the # of Euros in the title.
That is a shit-load of money!
Insurance premiums dont go up with points in Norway.

I was riding at 84 in a 60 zone. I was 2 kilometres from home. It was raining heavily and did not see the police car about 100 metres away. Had i been alone, i would have got away on a bicycle lane, through a tunnel under the police car and ride the lane against the traffic but my wife was riding pillion.
A few years ago I was clocked by a radar but i turned around and rode off in the opposite direction on a bicycle lane.
