I have a set of the modern HHands. They do blow back against the levers at speed. Fortunatly I have them on my winter pile of junk classic /5 and it takes a bit more than some stiff plastic at 70 mph to move those clutch and brake levers. :o

Are you saying that a stiffener will not work in your application ?
I've used the old HHs for years on a number of air-heads
without any trouble with interference or access.
(In all honesty, I like the original Vetter product better)
A home-made stiffener for the "new" HHs
solved blow-back & access problems on the R12S ... and at speeds well past 70 mph.

A stiffener of some sort would deffinatly help mine but since that bike rarley sees speeds over 50 mph I havn't botherd to make one. At street speeds they stay in shape pretty well and the openings are easy to get in and out of.
