WHen I was a kid growing up in Florida, Silver Springs and the Silver River were off limits to all motorized watercraft except the electric boats at the spring itself. There were too many varities and fish to count. The PACs and lobbiests (sp?) got ahold of this issue and forced gas powered boats into the scene. Now the fish are sparse. What a coincidence.
