Re: I won!
Smart man, no matter what others say. I don't listen to them and make up my own mind. Vince, don't pay any attention to them, I am on your side.Unclviny wrote:I had a choice, wander around and look at farm implements or stay by my bike and gawk at her. I spent most of the day by my bike!

Re: I won!
Thanks for having her at your back and off to one side so that she would be included in the photo. Or was the photographer taking her photo and you hogged in?Unclviny wrote:I had a choice, wander around and look at farm implements or stay by my bike and gawk at her. Congratulations, Vince. To win in Texas, thinking of the probable HD bias is pretty remarkable. The bike looks really good. I like the deep sump. It adds character.

Re: I won!
Winning a trophy made me feel good, in a show full of $40,000.00 farm implements my $5,000.00 bike wins.
The deep sump was a good-thing I think, the bike seems to run cooler (it's mechanically quieter). The centerstand fouled the sump (but just barely) so I dremelled-off the cooling fins a hair to make it clear.

Re: I won!
Good onya mate!, nice Toaster!, even here in Oz we always seem to get outnumbered
and overshadowed at shows by HDs,.. but alas, quality wins out in the end!
