Welcome aboard Peter. I'm guessing you are from the UK.
Being in Perth you have the advantage of being able to drop in at Munich Motorcycles personally. They are our 'local' parts suppliers too, with a very efficient mail order service. The blokes there also have considerable expertise in the ways of geriatric airheads, and have been very helpful to me with phone queries. Note that for larger orders, Motobins UK can often deliver parts even cheaper.
Have fun with getting your beast back together, and if you ride back across the Nullabor again be sure to let us know.

Dammit, even the internet can't hide my english accent.
Yeah Munich are great, they used to service and repair my bike back in the days when they did that sort of stuff. Interesting that they send so much stuff east, would have thought you would have a distributor over that way.
Thanks for the heads up on Motobins, I'll be sure to check them out.

We are sadly deprived over in the east. We are not even permitted to watch the sun setting into the ocean here.

So get your lazy arse up for the magnificent sunrise!

And I've never seen an oceanic moonrise before!

Welcome Pete,
An R75 with a R80 motor? They can't be very common.
A mate here in Collie used to own one of those. I wonder if its the same bike?
I don't know who he sold it to , he might have just sold it to a bike shop in Perth.

Maybe? I bought it privately from a guy in Safety Bay, who I know did a fair bit of work on it. I have no idea of any of its previous history though.
