Re: nothing about bikes
Hmmm, I see an overseas job with lots of tax breaks to help the funding. Research, visiting a like business etc. might make it so affordable that a US import RS could be part of the deal. Jeff, do you have a creative accountant?

Cheers, Steve

GreAT PIX me109...beauty!
The pools you design and build...are they "natural" in that no chems etc in them? If so, I wished I lived in ozland to put one in. Interesting how it all works.
We used to have a pond at the farm...spring fed, and we used it as our "swimming pool" for years. Only few algae blooms over the years but some guy told me to add a bunch of gold fish (little ones from Walmart) as they eat the algae...lo and behold it worked! But then the little buggers got bigger and bigger and over 2-3 years we had 6 inchers in there!

Retired from work....not life!

Correct Moosehead, no chemicals, no nothing.
Absolutely nothing is done to treat the water other than to circulate it with a low power pump.
Not many people can grasp the concept.
When I tell some people they are completely chemical free, they say "Oh, it's salt then is it?"
I have also experienced goldfish breeding like rabbits, and growing quite large!

So do you have "flow patterns" set up? Or is it random recirculation?
Is goldfish good eating? You know, for the coming apocalypse.

Re: nothing about bikes
Well, I set up horizontal and vertical circulation by using two return points to the pool.justoneoftheguys wrote:So do you have "flow patterns" set up? Or is it random recirculation?

One return points downwards at the deep end and the other return points horizontally near the shallow end.
It circulates very effectively.
Only people who are really hungry would eat a goldfish.
Bear Grylls excepted. But of course he eats shit don't he!

Don't be coy, Ed... tell us what you really think.enigmaT120 wrote:I'm sure they taste like carp.justoneoftheguys wrote: Is goldfish good eating? You know, for the coming apocalypse.

I think what Ed is saying, is that on a scale of 1 to 10 they taste like shit.
Mind you, I believe carp are the most commonly eaten fish in the woild.

Re: play on words
Actually, I was referring to these guys:
I think you may be right, carp are everywhere. Certainly the most eaten freshwater fish, worldwide. Tastes like shit? Butterfly 'em an' batter fry 'em, with some sweet mango chutney, mustard, honey and vinegar dip... you'll feed the hungry hordes!
