Interesting...the combination of the Omega charging system and the Optima battery...the "Optima 450"!! That might just solve all of the Airhead electrical issues. Available now by Bass-o-matic!!

From my conversation with Rick at Motorrad Elektrik, it was a bad stator winding. I could certainly have fixed that for about 1/3 the cost but it wasn't certain and I needed to get the bike back on the road (the good/ fast / cheap pyramid strikes again). This solution was fast, certain, and I ended up with a better charging system so I'm satisfied.
