I used to use Silkolene Pro 4 15-50 in my Honda XLV750 which ran hot,and used the last of it in the airhead.Full ester synthetic...but probably not available to you poor Americans. I'm using Castrol Edge Sport 25-50 now...just a dino,and not available to you either.

BEING NEW TO THE AIRHEAD MY BIKE IS A 1977 75/7 WHICH WT OIL IS FOR THE TRANS AND REAR SHAFT ? AND HOW MUCH?

Clymer or Haynes or both are ok manuals. Both aren't perfect.

Supposedly, you can support the BMW MOA Foundation (BMW MOA's rider safety education fundraising organisation) by giving a certain promotional code when purchasing Amsoil products. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the information about it.

The Amsoil comparison is interesting , but dated.

But what is also interesting is the oils they didnt compare - looks like Redline for one has them running scared.

Oils used to have their own forum, Bobistheoilguy , but Icant seen to find it there days.

I find my /6 seeping a lot of places using Castrol synth..bike runs great, but I'm considering changing to dino. is that wise guys? :lol:
