Well it finally arrived from far North Queensland, a much more muscular fabrication

Your passenger could provide a useful addition to the Dubbo Redback gene pool.
Or you could mail it to ZM. He loves Australian critters.

So Mal, are you going to be able to get that swingarm on before your southern expedition?

Gday Charlie,

The degreaser that made her come out of hiding finally got to her so no FNQ gene pool contribution. She might have fared better if someone OS had bought that part. They would have marvelled at the color and her child friendly nature.

Fitment will have to wait for another day. I only just got ol' schtarker fired up after a hard weekend's reassembly. It's the little things that slow a project, like that alloy fuel tap gasket that you fumble and drop and watch as it disappears into thin air. Still have some electrical gremlins to sort and carbs to balance and then there is packing for a week on the road, so I will leave the big-tube as an exciting improvement project for when I return.

I've installed the spare swingarm from the S for now. It has a notchy uni-joint but I reckon it can last another two thousand kms or so. And thus I cleverly preserve an excuse for not keeping up with the 80's set through the twisties.

Getting excited. Can this perfect perfect weather last?
