I have some Olins shocks that I tried on one of my bikes. I learned they were made for several models of Kawasaki when I called Olins about them. They weren't so hot on my bike. I took them off and wish to sell them, hopefully to a twin shock Kawi owner.

The first GPZs were twin shock. I had a 550. I'm pretty sure it was a 1981 model. I put S&W shocks on that one and a Yoshimura exhaust system. S&W became, I understand, Progressive.

I guess the point of this post is that there is a difference between the shocks according to Olins.

I had a Moto Guzzi 1100 Sport which had White Power (WP) shocks and forks. They were wonderful. I didn't like the bike much but the shock damping was very nice. From that bike, I learned what the magazines mean when they say "the bike tries to stand up under braking in a turn".
