Which model had those pleats across the leading edge, or was it lengthened ?Kurt in S.A. wrote:Those first two seats look to me to be original style seat pans that were cut down and the covering was cut to match.

G'day Sinjun
You can have whatever shaped seat you want with a bit of DIY. I found an original Denfeld police seat (in crappy condition) and re-covered it.
It was really comfortable but much bigger than I needed. Obviously designed to suit a police issue arse. I wanted something more sleek, shorter and lower - more suitable for my sensibly sized arse and leg length. A friend gave me the front end of a R80G/S seat ...
... and I added some metal bits and some more foam ...
... and sewed up a new cover ...
With some metal working skills you could easily make a new pan. Here's one made by a bloke on ADV ...
Good luck with it.

Re: Searching for solo seat
Well I got in touch with Karles Vives of Barcelona who built the RT in the first picture I posted. He got back to me and said the seat is an original German police seat and he got it through a private sale. He suggests searching ebay or beemer forums. So it looks like I continue to search with hope or get the "similar" solo seat shown in the lat 2 images I posted. Fingers crossed spring is upon us here in New Hampshire!
Many thanks to all who chimed in!
