When we are talking about the vaunted number 42, the question doesn't matter. 42 is the answer to everything, the answer to every question.

Why do you want to be 56? I don't want to get any older than I already am. I want to win the lottery so I can retire while I'm still relatively young, while I can still enjoy life a bit.

I've actually always loved "Mostly Harmless," but not for the book or the title nearly as much as for the subtitle:
"The Fifth Book In The Increasingly Inaccurately Named Hitchhiker's Trilogy"
