I think i remember changing that one in like 1992.

The horn quit working on my bike, so I decided it would be cool to have a car horn. I took the one out of my pickup truck and bolted it on. After i wired it up, I pushed the key in and the horn started blasting without me pushing the button. Then, it stopped. That was why I had a bag of fuses in my garage. Bought a VW bus horn at Nationwise and that worked much better. Although I'm due for a replacement.

If you didn't put a relay in the horn circuit when you changed the horn...that was the problem.
New horn + too much current!!

If you noticed, he also said this:

I believe that was his definition of "too much horn," and I can't argue with him there.

True...but he took it off and replaced it with a VW horn and the fuses last longer! (?)
