Doesn't make sense to me either...chasbmw wrote:That's not very logical?Zombie Master wrote:Rear flats are more common. When I'm only packing one tube I take a front, it will work in the rear as a temporary fix.

Right, I'm in the pub at Hillston NSW having lunch with the other lads.
Heading north to Nymagee for the night.
I wasn't sure who to believe so I believed yez all.
I took a front tube, a back tube, and no tube.

I know you were trying to save space, so where did you put the no tube?ME 109 wrote:Right, I'm in the pub at Hillston NSW having lunch with the other lads.

I too would rather have a spare front for use in the back as opposed to a rear stuffed into the front. Makes sense to me.

I guess I should have written: Though rear flats are more common, when I can only pack one tube I'll carry a front tube as you can use them in both wheels. The smaller rear tube shouldn't be used in the front IMO.chasbmw wrote:That's not very logical?Zombie Master wrote:Rear flats are more common. Any and all disclaimers may apply

I'm in the opposite camp. I'd much rather have a tube have to stretch out to fit than have folds inside the tire.Zombie Master wrote:I guess I should have written: Though rear flats are more common, when I can only pack one tube I'll carry a front tube as you can use them in both wheels. And the inside diameter is.....Tim Shepherd wrote:Using a front tube in a rear tire won't make it bunch up. The outer diameter is the same.
