I think some people might use 1/4" fuel line...I think the BMW line is 7mm ID so it is close.

I checked several sites for various types of fuel hose. I'm going with the opaque, yellow Tygon fuel hose.
Got to "kick-it-up a notch". Thanks for all the replies gentlemen.

Snowbum mentions Tygon F-4040A as a good choice. I guess there are good and bad choices of plastic line.

I brought a piece of my 7 mm fuel line to work and they found a piece of copper tubing to fit it that I use for my cross over. No clamps needed, same as everywhere else on the bike.

Did you solder the "T"s into the copper tubing or did you use the tubing to make your own wide "H" assembly?

Due to cost, we tried many types of fool line.......... back in the day. The plastic lines get hard and brittle quickly, so they can't be removed and used again. Maybe today something better exists.

HINT: Measure your longest fuel line and carry a spare. You can always cut it down to fit the shorter ones that might be found to leak.

That would be a nice solution, but no, I just used short pieces of fuel line on each side of the copper tubing. Thanks a lot, you gave me something else to think about.

Whatever fuel line you use, just ensure that it is proof against Ethanol, otherwise it will fail in a fairly short period of time.

Copper may look nice, but can all too easily fracture. The BMW method is so neat that I really can't see how to improve it!

Chrome-plated plumbing tubing would be snazzy...

I have started using tubing called Gates Barricade. It is formulated to withstand ethanol fuel.
