On my UpNorth trip last year I travelled 4700kms. I did go the pretty way, of course. Only went a few kms into Queensland after your place just to make sure it was still there. (I didn't drink the water - I know they put idiot pills in the water supply). About $500 for fuel, $300 for food, booze and other luxuries, 23 nights in all. Expensive, yes, but great fun.

I think that you guys are repeating the same old stories so much that interbreeding is inevitable. You need some foreign liars to inject new stories into the breed. Your mates deserve new material, as do mine. I think it is high time for an International Boxerworks meeting.

I nominate Ken as our ambassador. Ken is a great story teller and some could say that he is full of new material that needs to evacuated, or discharged. You really should see his guitar making abilities. He could take along a wood nymph, or two.

Duane, we can always do with some fresh bullshit. Fresh, exotic bullshit would be even better. Yes, get a contingent of competent bullshitters together and come on down. Our dollar is currently worth about 82 US cents, so bring as many US dollars as you can stuff into your pockets and increase your wealth while you leap one day into the future.
And yes, definitely bring Ken. I want to meet Ken, and his wood nymphs.

So if I show up on that island sometime, can I buy a set of wheels for a month or two, and then sell them back gracefully. Which rally is the best one? Isn't there two of them. I am just daydreaming here - but it could happen.

Brad, if you come there will be a rally. As to wheels, there is always a chance but decent airheads are pretty hard to find at a bargain price here. Lots of other bikes would be available. Perhaps google "motorcycle sales Australia" and check prices.

I would get something I couldn't get in N.A.
Something like Honda's CBR250RR (4 cylinder inline).
Of course, you might be tempted to bring it back with you.

I could send Diane with Ken and the wood nymphs. She would contaminate Ken and the nymphs. You downunder types could do with listening to her tales. Did I say listening? I meant paying attention to.
