My First BMW developed the first problem when the throttle bore goes out

and my first BMW a 1974 R90/6.............. I S'ed or sport built

in the mix were 36mm Mikuni TM's

I went to a overnighter in El Centro and found the sheep fighting over which was faster

the R100S or the 1975 R90S

the 2 most soundly took off the the loser was mad.. R90S

the night of burritos and drink went on the next day I crawled out of my tent packed up and rode out I found the winner gasing up as I just finished

he asked which way I was goin, we were headed the same so we went on eventually he push faster and faster so I just grabed a handfull comming to the throttle stop and passed him as he was standing still

Past Saltin Sea I slowed to stop at a Date farm for a malt is when he caught up

he took a closer look at my Flat black R90 then asked what's in it ? I said Used parts....... he rode off mad....

If you want quick response, the Miks are the way to go. No larger than 38 tho.
for long term economy and go-anywhere operation, stick with the Bings.

Yep but as I found later my 32mm on the RED mixes betterSo
I'd say this

on a 750 maybe a 30mm
on a 900 a 32mm for sure
on a 100 a 34mm

and use ther Ohio Cafe rider site for ideas on Jetting

Are Mikunis that much better than Delortos? We're talking about flat slide Mics, right? I love the Dells but they are certainly sensitive.

I have a set of 40mm Dells which i got with my R90/6. I haven't consider trying putting them on, they're far to big, right?
