No, but I first must find out what value it has, because I really don't know.

The Camry went to my shop manager, and I can use it anytime that I might need it. We have exchanged vehicles many times over the past 40+ years, so what has really happened is that now he pays the registration and insurance, instead of me. Not bad huh?

Today I installed my new Dyna111. Got the static timing right on on both sides!! Installed a new back tube as well.

Yesterday in the "shed" I...

Adjusted the valves on my '12 Camhead. First time I ever had to deal with the dreaded shims. Was a bit of a pain in the butt to determine which ones I had to buy from the stealership but overall was pretty damn easy. Now it's running like a top. Best damn motorcycle I ever owned.

I've only done that type of valve adjustment once: it was on my 82 750 GPZ, but that was a shim-under-bucket arrangement, so you had to remove the cams if anything was not in spec. The shim-over-bucket arrangement like the K-bikes have is much easier.

I took apart one of those vacuum bag sealers to see why it doesn't work. The vacuum motor runs when I push the button, and it seems to suck, but the light doesn't come on, the sealing bar doesn't get hot, and it doesn't shut off like it's supposed to. I don't see anything obviously wrong but putting voltage to the light doesn't make it come on, so I suspect the bulb is bad.

Kawasaki used the shim over bucket method on my 76 Z900. I wonder why they changed - probably higher revs and they were worried about valve bounce spitting the shim out. Very satisfying doing the shim over bucket method. I had a special tool that held the bucket down while the shim was removed.

If the light is an LED, you have to make sure you have to polarity right or it won't light. Make sure you try it both directions.
