I count Kari as one of my closest friends and was greatly saddened at the news of his death. He introduced me to the BMW, and greatly expanded my knowledge of the many delightful roads in Northern California. My heart goes out to Gail and her daughters. The suddenness of his death must be a heavy burden to them.

There is a memorial service planned for Sunday, December 5th, 2:00 PM at the Hotel Sofitek, 223 Twin Dolphin Dr., Redwood City. The hotel is in the "foster city" part of Redwood City, between the Holly street exit and Ralston Ave. exit, on the East side of 101.
