It was about two years old. I think the reason it happened is probably because the gasoline stayed on the surface for some time. It was under cover and I didn't look at it for a couple months. These LED electrical gremlins I'm chasing are still not all gone!

It's a tough one but I think damaged paint is preferable to stains on my petcock.
