A lifetime of playing music has pinched a nerve in my neck. I played violin for a long time and then wore a guitar strap in the same area for many years. I had a problem with it a few years back. I have no desire to go back into the pain. Bouncing around on a bike with a big weight on my head doesn't help. But I have many riding buddies who now have tried the carbon fiber helmet that I use. They all have bought them, and would never want to go back to a heavy lid. The technology is affordable now. There are also saftey considerations with having more mass attached above your neck in a crash. I can buy a carbon fiber helmet with a proper safety rating for $300. CDN locally. Sometimes new technology is actually better. I think if any of us tried one, we would want one. When I was in New Zealand a few months back, every rider I let hold my helmet, wanted one.

I've finished the radiation and am just starting a week's worth of double rated chemo. No ill effects at all so far. A scan in a few weeks so a little bit of trepidation on that account .

BTW I have a new HJC CL max brand new in a box for sale I'd call it XL. Good lid, just want lighter.
I know the HJC CL Max fits me pretty well, so if the Lazer fits you I bet a smaller one would fit me. Right now I just have an IS Max but it's kind of a cheap helmet and is showing it's age. And it leaks around the face shield when I ride in the rain, so does my Shoe RF1000. That Lazer supposedly has little springs to pull the shield in. And it has the Pinlock, which I love because it stops the shield from fogging up.

+1.
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.
