Ahh well Charlie it was actually the BLFSC that brought me undone that night.
I'm just back from a few enjoyable days work in Newcastle, will attempt a description of events soon as I get a beer

Hang on, the Boxerworks Liberation Front Social Club was meeting at Picnic Point that night. Is there a splinter group?

Well, I'm back on the road again. I discovered a spun rear wheel bearing, explaining the low speed head-shaking I experienced on the First Spring Rally. This was a fail for the epoxy bodge I did about 40k kms ago. Fortunately I had a spare wheel on hand with a good spline cup, so added new bearings and a new Pilot Activ tyre. I'll get the original wheel fixed - the hub needs to be bored and sleeved. Brunhilde is very happy now - no more wiggling around corners.
I caught up with Jeff today. He was movin' rocks, poolside. His bike will be back on the road in a week or so after a bit of machining work on intimate engine bits.
Anyway, we discussed the need for a ride; a Second Spring Rally. In November we have 5-6, or 12-13, or 19-20 or 26-27. I'm easy about when and where but I know a lot of you have family obligations. So please throw some ideas around and we'll see what happens.

Better go for 12-13 mesself, just to make sure me bits are back, and on the bike.
That spot on the King river at Cheshunt, near Whitfield might be a good spot?

I'm a good chance for 12-13 too. Whitfield is a good spot.
There'll be a few BMW's out in the region that weekend, but a little further away.

Hey, if we were members of the BMW Club of Victoria or an affiliated BMW club we would be permitted to go to that BMW Rally. Entry is only $60 and because we are cheap bastards we could get an unpowered tent site at the caravan park for $85.

Note that the Doncaster BMW Motorrad Boutique has proudly announced a "$15 million redevelopment". I wonder if there will be a Jacuzzi? Next time I'm in that neighbourhood I might go there and see if I can get finance to buy a couple of sparkplugs.

"Outside of the showroom, a test-ride of your next BMW is guaranteed to be exhilarating with some of Victoria's best roads nearby, away from the congestion of the City."
They got to be kidding?
Wankers. I might ring and ask if I can test ride on one of Victorias best roads......
