Bummer Doug. I hope it goes well.
She's not likely to be with us for much longer
No need for discomfort these days, so despite the sudden circumstances, I hope she dies nicely.

Mal, are you well yet?
Grant and I are to decide our route tonight after review of the forecast. It's looking like Jingellic to Batlow, then Tumut and Talbingo. Home via the Snowy Mountains Highway thru Cooma/Bombala/Gippsland. Early frost forecast for Cooma, so I expect we'll leave a little late, and let some traffic and (hopefully) sun clear the road for us.
600(me)-700(Grant)ks there, 700-600ks back, so we both do similar mileage, doing a clockwise circle from our base.
The weather is looking like it might abate for us, just enough to take the edge off.
So we're expecting to see Jeff, Charlie, Ontic, Grant, Mal, Steve from Dubbo, She'llbe, Bob Bennett, DucatiPete, me, and maybe one other with Jeff.
That's a good turn out.
Have a safe ride everyone.

Forecast for Victoria for the w/e:
A low pressure trough will rapidly cross Victoria during Friday. A high
pressure system will move across South Australia and New South Wales during the
weekend and will stay well to the north of Victoria. The next cold front will
approach western Victoria later on Sunday, moving rapidly across the State on
Monday.
That sounds pretty good considering, but I hope it's accurate.
