Hey boxheads,
Unfortunately that particularly w/end is a non starter for me.
But the following w/end I have off & there's a HU rally up at Jindabyne, so I may have a crack at attending it.
Lemme know if anyone's interested in going and we can attempt a hook up.
In the meantime have yourselves a bloody good time up that gorgeous Valley.
(jealous!)
& good luck with that donk, Jeff.
Pete

November is pretty well out for me, fan damily commitments, new grand kid due, and fending off the slightly older ones.
But we have several of eurobodallas finest signed up & heading for the classics at Phillip Island in Jan.
Cheers Mal.

Now ya talkin'!
OK then, over the next couple of months I'll check out some likely looking pubs around here.
I suppose camping in grounds and in house accommodation would suit everyone.
Looking forward to visiting these Pubs.

G'day Pete'
As it happens, a group of Narooma riders ride to Jindabyne November every year, this year the 19th, so Ali and I
have a room at the Lake Jindabyne Hotel/Motel and the group usually has a meal Sat night at the Bowling club.
Possible spare beds in our room if you wish to share? or need accom .

Thanks Pete, I got my rods and pistons etc back today but not sure if I'll get my heads back next week. The engine reconditioner is very busy.......
If I get them later next week I don't know if I'll have it all back together by the weekend.
There's always my F100 to drive there I guess.

Well now, I guess if you bring the see-through RS with the toilet facilities in the back of Effy ...
Alternatively, I'm wondering if Big Brother Ken was one of those kids who let his little brother ride his bike? You could take your luggage to Benalla, load up his Blood Clot RS and enjoy the weekend.

Both Ken and Jim have offered me their RS. Kinda strange seeing they know what I do on my bike.
Seems like too much rooting around Charlie.

We may not have to think about it. Here is the forecast for Benalla:

Next weekend is looking quite damp.

Bugger. The forecast for Cheshunt is worse. Maybe we should delay..1st w/e December?
I did the Dinner Plain ride yesterday. -4 o/n and snow slurries over the village all the way to DP. Grant came along on the brick. Excellent riding though the Tolmie Road was closed for a Targa event. That was disappointing though the detour via the Tatong Pub was a fine alternative.

Stumbled into here after a bit of a break!
Spring is nearly over, blokes!!
I should update you.
After my enforced sidelining, I'm back on a slightly more youthful replacement GS. Yea, I know, but I still have my R65 and keen to rebirth after its early retirement.
And the roads and the weather are sublime atm. Yesterday, a short squirt down Indigo valley to Chiltern, then back up to Beechworth, Stanley and down to the Myrtleford road and back to Yackandandah .
Dont waste spring on a bloody lawnmower!
