I think I'm trippin'! I can't wait to see it on the assembled bike. Cue Jimi Hendrix - "Purple Haze".

Thankx guyz.
Hmmm ... a lot more gold shines through in those pics. Ill grab some more this afternoon.
I was not as happy with todays spraying of tank & bits. Booth is out of bounds for a couple hours while it all dries.

That paint scheme is pretty much what you said 12 months ago, you were going to do, iirc?
I wonder how Chuey is? He may still be stuck on the wall.

Yeah, thats wright ME... was always going be a candy red /smoke scheme.
Well... I have to say that I am closer to being very disappointed, than being less than impressed with todays results spraying the tank, guards & bits.
Actually, im rather pissed off with myself this evening
On inspection I can clearly see where I stuffed up... and badly... on every piece
Coats to thick + not enough flash off time = badly bubbled surface's
Ill regroup and think it threw tomorrow
Pretty much most of the next 10 days will be consumed with family & friends arriving & helping with preps for a little party on the 11th.
Plenty of warm hospitality, hot food & camping space if any one is passing through Tweed

Oh, then plenty of extra hands to help you wet sand those too thick areas. Good enough.

Hi Steve,
Life has been caught in a shaky deep spin cycle this past year & no progress on Betsy has been made at all
Im sort of on top of things again, hopefully I can get back into it in the new year.
Thanks for asking mate.
Cheers
Joe

Good to hear.
We can wait. I'm sure looking forward to the continuation though.
