I agree! It's hard to keep up with how things move on the web...but I occasionally try!

For whatever it’s worth I’m finding the same thing on similar discussions with a number of vintage cars that I own. Models that I haven’t remained in high demand have seen shops folder shift focus.

Ha! Yeah, jokes on me, not only in the original post of the list of links, but in several mentions on a few comments *after* that one, the same realization had already been spoken. But hey, always was one for jumping on late bandwagons :P

Do you happen to have any knowledge of good service shops in the Washington State area?

Gotta change with the times, I suppose!

Well, one of those links (micapeak URL) lists some places in Washington. Kevin Brooks is a good mechanic but I don't think he's up there anymore...his old website doesn't work. A name I've heard a lot is Shail's BMW but he's over the border in British Columbia.

Thanks Kurt.

I have a contact from the bike's previous owner, just wanted to see if someone else knew of any in the area.

I always liked MikesXS for my NKG spark plug caps and ignition wires. Save the original coil ends on the wires by de-soldering them. They are better than any you can buy. Continue to reuse them with each wire change.
Don't forget your dielectric grease in the coil connection.

Nice place for some metric tools, as well. JIS screwdrivers! (Not for BMW...)

Noted! I will definitely utilize those links when I go to replace the cables. Thank you!
