Long thread on the Jim Cray silencers on Advrider including some contact details for Jim and dyno charts which show them adding around 5 bhp on a R100, otherwise take a look on my photo bucket site, same username as here.

Over on the V twin forum that is the ONLY criteria.
Are we there, yet ?

My paper file includes a copy of that Joe Minton article,

"Black-Tie Boxer", Joe Minton, Motorcyclist, August, 1984

as well as a couple of other "oldies but goodies" to include:

"Boxer Rebellion, A turned on twin for the K-bike for lunch bunch", Dexter Ford, Motorcyclist, March 1986

"BMW: The All Out Version. Mark Bengel has it his way", Joe Minton, Motorcyclist, January, 1985

and

"Project R80 PHB, One rider's BMW test bed, the "PHB" is for performance, handling and braking", Bob Price, Rider, April, 1989

Been following the Jim Cray designed silencers over on ADV website.

I'm in need for a new set of "silencers" (seems like an oxymoron eh) for a 77RS. I was intriqued by the write ups on ADV re: Cray designed flowthrough silencers.

I was going to enquire at Keihan, who make them, but someone on ADV said that Jim Cray Engineering sells them direct and buying direct would leave a few bucks in Jim's pockets ordering direct from him. Does he have a website or such or just the old fashioned phone contact??
