Bracing the front of the frame

Yeah. All I know is that when I am leaned over at about 45 degrees and hit the gas, it gets that back wheel a-spinning and I kind of like that. It's just that my stock R100 engine puts out ungodly amounts of power and I lean that baby over so radically that I'm wearing out tires on the sidewalls. I was thinking of putting in some aerodynamic flattened spokes so when the wheel spins up leaving turns, it does so faster and doesn't use up as much horsepower.

Meanwhile, back at the adobe, I'm waiting for an email from She'llbe. He said he has some pictures, etc, of some weld on gussets from Ken Whitehawk.

Not to simply dismiss all of your bull-shit ...
Ken has put together a well thought out & modest handling package
that will provide any stock 247 with better handling manners.

Oh Lordy, I had hoped that not only you, but everybody would dismiss it! Thanks for your opinion. It it's pretty much what I have planned, I'll probably do my own. If it's got some stuff that I didn't think of, but looks good, I'll probably buy Ken's.

The kit will be some steel pieces that are pre-cut to fit – to be welded by you,
and a bent tube that has been bird-mouthed at each end ...
I am not entirely convinced of the effectiveness of the pieces intended for the neck-stem ...
and the tube will be superfluous on a later frame.
but then I will be considered by some
to be both cynical and skeptical.

As it turns out, however, the kit is decent enough if the design criteria suits your needs
and priced right considering the costs that Ken would need to pay for the work involved .
