I did some checking and the wedge 32721232929, is NO LONGER AVAILABLE. So I am not sure what type of fix around is available. When I changed the bars on my R90/6 I didn't see them in the housing either. The controls did clamp up pretty tight, so they did not flop about, but could be be rotated if some effort was applied.

I DID think about the 22 mm - 7/8 inch stuff, but I figured that was already in the knowledge bank.
DO NOT ASSUME.
DO NOT ASSUME.
Repeat 50 times....
On a used bike, a lot of times, the wedge is already lost...hate it, but true.
Kinda like the wiring inside the headlight shell on a /5.
Lost wedge. You CAN make one out of lead. It just takes some time.

Yeah, never assume that something is NLA world-wide just because one dealer tells you it's NLA when they try to order it from BMW. Places like Bob's, Hucky's, and Blue Moon often have NOS parts, used parts, and aftermarket solutions for parts that are NLA from the factory.

Hmm, I've never seen a perch wedge in the wild. But I'll have a go at making some while the bike is in bits.
Just looking at the perches, I assume the wedges are a triangular prism shape. Shouldn't' be too hard to shave down a lead sinker to suit.

Yes, a triangular shape about 1/2 -5/8 inch long...File and fit.
Of course, it's better if you have ONE to use for a model...even better if you finally find the one you dropped.
I used an old wheel weight I found on the street.
