Gidday Fellas,

Love it ZM, that bike looks nice and aggressive, even speeding when parked.

Enjoy and congrats

Remember, ZM, if you're not running some ancient Mac, you can just install windows on your Mac and run it through Boot Camp.

If the files on the CD are PDF, shouldn't a Mac be able to use them directly? One doesn't need Winders to open a PDF file.

It is possible for a CD to have the files formatted in such a way that the Mac can't see or read them. It's not an issue with the actual files, but more with how they are saved and put on the CD. Certainly, anyone with full Acrobat ought to be able to make it Mac compatible, but I'm not sure you can do it with just the reader.

It's also possible that you could open them on the Mac simply by accessing through a program designed to deal with the issue.

Guess I'll just buy the CD. I guess it would be good to be able to run Windows on my Mac....but I would need to take a shower afterwards. :(

Yeah, it's a little creepy.

Here's the page that has the best info:

http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/

Which Windows you can run is dependent on which OS you have and which Boot Camp it runs, so make sure you have everything correctly aligned before you pickup a version of Windows.

Wow that's complicated and spendy. Probably cheaper to buy a cheap window laptop. Maybe I could get a hook up for FI remapping!I'm a Fuel injection virgin. :?

Good to read that. I'd give a jug a pat every time I went into the shed too, and tell her she looks nice.

We share files between Macs and PCs at work sometimes. Just copy back and forth via email, file server, flash drive, etc. PDF's, image files, etc. So I figured a Mac would be able to read the CD. But I don't know much about Macs.

ZM, maybe you should just take the plunge, pop that CD on in there and see what happens.
