My R65 locked up on start-up a time or two when I first got it. I fought the float adjustment on it for a couple years, with some running rich problems, before someone suggested waterlogged floats. I changed the floats and like magic, I quit leaving puddles of gas whenever I forgot to turn off the petcock. Turning off the fuel was a hard habit to get into. Prior to my Airheads I only owned Japanese bikes. No dripping, no puddles. But Airheads are cool. Lets talk about brakes next.
