That's pretty close to the real answer. The first goal of any store is to get you in the door. The first goal of any site is to get you on the site. If a search for an item gets you on their site, it's a win - regardless of whether or not they can sell you that particular item.

Those are the dual sport grips.

The only problem, as I mentioned before, is that if you have heated under grips, they take a long time to warm up.
Once warm they feel just great.

I love heated grips, never have to bring extra gloves, they are always there if it gets cold. I can't see why any touring bike sold in North America wouldn't have them from the factory.

I would get hand cramps from the Magura grips on my '89 R100RS. A fellow at the BMW rally in Salem, Oregon showed me the "Grip Puppies" he had on his bike. He had traveled from Ottawa and said he really liked them. I ordered a pair from California Sport Touring (I don't believe they sell them anymore). They were a real BITCH to put on (used warm soapy water), but are they COMFORTABLE!!! The Grip Puppies have eliminated road vibrations and they keep my hands warmer in cold weather.

I put something similar on my CBR over the stock Honda grips. They worked a treat! It was recommended to use hair spray to lube them up for install. It evaporates, and Bobs yer uncle!

Yeah, hair spray is a really old trick for grip installation. Along with lubricating for installation, when it dries, it acts as a glue. The only problem with it is that it washes out with water, so it can turn back into lubricant in the rain. Probably not a problem with those over-the-grip slip-ons, but with grips on metal bars it can be bad.
