Thanks for the news Bamboo812, if he's having health issues and in and out of the hospital then I completely understand his unresponsiveness and truly wish him all the best and a return to good health.
I will quit with emailing and calling and carry on and get the job done elsewhere.
Thanks for the tip of Hansen's, do you live in Canada?,,,,,,,,,,, the idea of sending valuable parts out of country for repair leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Sent a BSA connecting rod to england for big end work a while back, on return, canada customs decided that the declaration was a lie and I was actually buying the parts new and they decided they were entitled to more than $60 for duty's and whatever, didn't have the cash on me,,,I have to say, I was hard pressed not to go on the offensive and forcibly wrestle the package out of the poor delivery guys hands that day.
Ive heard tell of a guy near montreal,, yves faucher, don't know if anyone here has used him but I am looking into it,,,,, may I ask what Hansens in Oregon has been charging for this repair?
