I didn't have any pictures of the bike since it became a R90S. So I had to take some to post here. It is an owner (me) made R90S. The engine block has an S serial number but the frame is probably not. It was a replacement after I was hit from behind. The engine is made to 1976 specs, big flywheel bolts, etc. It was rebuilt using the machining services and advice of Ted Porter. I like fork gaiters and red shock springs. The wheels were built by me with flanged rims and SS spokes

This is the handlebar that I made. It is about an inch lower than the stock one. Also, it now has rear sets. They were sold as CC products rearsets.

Thanks, Daniel. Thing is, my photographic talents seem to have faded with my new fancy camera. It's not like I was ever really good at taking photos but with my old Pentax Spotmatic and a 50mm 1.4 lens, I got a lot of good shots. With this new SLR digital camera I'm not getting much good stuff. It may sound like I'm blaming the camera but I know it is me and my lack of knowledge of how to use it. Also, the more I think about composition and lighting, the worse I do.

The sticker art work was done for me by a friend. I had some stickers made but they faded within a couple weeks. The ones you see there have been on the bike for about a year and a half and were done by Grant in Australia. They are holding up. Chalk up another advantage to having friends here on Boxerworks.

Jim did both of my engines, of the 2 it is the R90/6 that I use more nowadays, not sure why, anyway it took me down to Greece last summer for a 6 week trip.

I agree with you about digital cameras, I used to use Olympus SLRS on my travels, and seemed to be able to adjust them to get good results. I now use a midrange Canon G9 and find it difficult to get decent results.

Chuey, here's something you could try, for better photos: take them on overcast days or in shadows of large building etc. You end up with less shadows and too dark areas, making it easier to see the other details. Nice bike!
