Isn't it interesting that with all this talk about the flatness of glass we're talking about flatness of a liquid? At least as evidenced by the pieces of glass in ancient cathedrals that are thicker at the bottom than the top.

I have read that's actually a myth. Cause by an error by someone who didn't measure enough ancient glass panes to realise that some were also thicker at the top, and some at the sides ..... they just had poor quality control back then.

We need to ask a materials scientist to be sure, but I think glass really might be as solid as it seems.

I think the jury is still out on glass flow but just in case better make sure to use a piece that's not older than the bike.

Trimming the headlight brackets so they will fit with the the CC top clamp. The dremel did a neat job but it still feels like butchery.

Ya Ken, the S sadly was born without ears.

I actually got some /5 brackets coming from the States that I accidentally won on ebay. 15 bucks! We won't talk about the postage. One day I will find the headlight to go with 'em.
