I have read that's actually a myth. Cause by an error by someone who didn't measure enough ancient glass panes to realise that some were also thicker at the top, and some at the sides ..... they just had poor quality control back then.Ken in Oklahoma wrote:Isn't it interesting that with all this talk about the flatness of glass we're talking about flatness of a liquid? We need to ask a materials scientist to be sure, but I think glass really might be as solid as it seems.
