Biltwell solo seat Tuck and Roll has arrived.
It won't be mounted to springs. Might have some thick rubber under it to help with shock absorption.
Still working on what the pillion will sit on.

Uh, Ross---"shock absorption" is for those who aren't truly committed to art. So are pillions.

The Ah-8-Tee now has a battery that works. Thanks heaps to Munich Motorcycles in Perth. They still rock.
Now I need petrol. HAHAHAHAHAHA I used what little I put into the tank from my jerry can riding it around the back roads on Sunday. My jerry can is empty tonight. So no fire up.

Today it rained.
It rained 8 years ago when I took delivery of my first airhead.
Tradition lives on.
Today the Ah-8-Tee was made legal to ride on the road.
It is good, very good to be back on a beemer airhead.

Photos of me heading off to make it all legal.

You may be more "rat-rod"-ish, Ross, if there's any "rod" to be found in an R80, but if you'd prefer something minimalist that's all done, this one's on E-bay now:

It's certainly . . . uhm . . . interesting. I hate it, but to each their own . . . except for the muffler location, which is just stupid - I don't care who you are.
