R80ST Electrical Problem--please help
Re: R80ST Electrical Problem--please help
Wow, Jean! Within minutes of my tying this thread up nicely in a holding pattern awaiting stormy Katie's return you veer waaaaay off course into some really ugly territory. Now, you get this thread cleaned up before Katie comes back or she is gonna just.... I mean when she left it just wouldn't start, now you got it all burnt up and stuff. Come on, she's just a newbie. Of course, she did split for the Bahamas while we were working our asses off for her. OK, carry on.

Ok you two, there's tears in my eyes now.
Hmm, if you had enough electrons at your disposal could you make toast with a toaster tank?

Bahamas is already feeling the wind and rain. Supposed to hit in full force starting tonight (Eastern US time) and storm conditions will continue thru Saturday, hopefully diminishing by Sunday morning.
Surf's definitely UP.
If you can read this, Katie, we'll be thinking of you.

Thanks, guys. We're fine. I've written a couple of blogs about my good friend Sandy--need to do a followup--but if you are interested you can read them at http://katieblack.com/blog/. There is flooding here and we still do not have power or cable, but thanks to a generator and Verizon I can write this. Now we just have to worry about Sandy and Rhode Island. Phew, the fun never stops.

Thanks for the update, Katie. Your experience with hurricanes shows in your preparations. We are getting news here of the possibility of Sandy combining with an Arctic jet stream to form a 'super storm' affecting up to a third of the eastern US. Batten down the hatches guys - Sandy is already responsible for 41 lives lost in the Caribbean.

NOW...back to RI.
Is the BIKE safe????
RI is mighty stuck-out into the Atlantic to not have a lot of WET when a Hurricane hits!
