I don't get it. Are you saying the KTM uses only a screen for oil filtration?Zombie Master wrote:http://www.ktm.com/gb/naked-bike/690-du ... sicht.html

That is a shame they couldn't pony up for a real filter.Garnet wrote:It does have a screen: http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ub ... er=1543914Major Softie wrote:Really? Not even a screen?Garnet wrote: The only real "cheap" complaint I have is the lack of any adjustment of the suspension and no oil filter. The oil is super easy to change though. Did the first one at 120 km and plan on doing them often.
I plan on cleaning it more often than the recommended 7500mi/12000kms. A magnetic drain plug will be going in there too.
Yes, the 250 has one. One end of the filter says "This End Out", and forum posters are putting them in backward and wondering what is wrong with their engine. So maybe the 125 is more...foolproof?
I had a old CB200 for a while. It had a screen, but it also had a oil slinger, as well. One that was much easier to service than those on the pre-1970 airheads.

Neither, their venom is so nasty even the wilderness survival guys don't recommend eating them! I've been bitten twice, it was no fun...
